Darksiders 2: THQ Sets Game’s Launch on June 2012
In just a few months, Death will be here. He is in the form of a man in a quest to prove his brother War’s innocence. THQ has just revealed that Darksiders 2 will reach store shelves this coming June 26, 2012. The title’s official forums announce some of the news about the game and also the incentives players can take advantage of by pre-ordering the game through some retailers. These incentives are not just mere bonuses but they will actually enhance the player’s gaming experience.
What are the bonuses that you can expect by pre-ordering? Well, it can depend on which retailer you pre-order from. THQ reveals some of these retailer-exclusive bonuses. Here are some: If you order from Gamestop, you get a pack called ‘Death Rides’. It comes with several side quests exclusive to the retailerthat let you explore areas such as Dead Plains and Maker’s Realm in a more in-depth way. If you order from Best Buy, you get a pack called ‘Angel of Death’. It comes with an armor that has been enhanced and that has been designed with angels in mind. There is a couple of scythes to match the armor. You will also get an exclusive visual trail in purple. This serves their crow’s visual trail. If you order from Amazon, you get a pack called ‘Deadly Despair’. It comes with added speed boost for Despair, which is Death’s horse. It lets players travel faster.
UK players can receive bonuses by ordering from either GAME or Amazon. Australian players can get their exclusive incentives from EB Games, GAME and JB Hi-Fi.
