Call of Duty – Black Ops 2: Zombies Hinted At in New Artwork
Right. Well. Fresh out of the bag, the internet’s worst kept secret has sparked more than a few debates. The thing is, Call of Duty, the franchise, has become the victim of its own success and fans are getting tired of the same old same old. While we’ve all be debating the whether-tos and the why-fors for Call of Duty – Black Ops 2, Treyarch have released a rather striking image of a shotgun-toting young women stood upon a pile of corpses. Could the zombie apocolypse be coming to Black Ops 2 too?
In an image very reminiscent of the Resident Evil promotional material and artworks, we are let wondering about the nature of this tweet from the official Call of Duty Twitter feed. We know already that it is one half of the double-sided poster you get when you pre-order with GameStop, so will this be launch day DLC? Or will it be a part of the original gameplay. And do we actually care? the reveal trailer for Call of Duty – Black Ops 2 showed quite a surprising concept, by setting the events slightly in the future Treyarch have managed to create a rather scarily believable scenario. Adding zombies however is the polar opposite of that, but hey, killing zombies is pretty cool right?
