Borderlands 2: Gunzerker and Siren Class detailed
In the Borderlands 2 teaser trailer released back in August, the new Gunzerker class was introduced. Gearbox has since then about how the gun-wielding class works. The class can wield two weapons at a time but can only bring just as many guns. So, choosing which weapons to pull out at any given time is a serious decision. Just think of the combination and the situation.
The class has three skill trees. One of the skill trees includes a skill called “Yippe Ki Yay”. This one extends your berserk mode during a kill. The second skill tree comes with health boosters and even taunts that can drive your enemies to attack you, instead of your weaker teammates. The third tree is called “Gun Lust”. This one seems to be designed for single player mode. There are vampiric attacks and special skills available in the skill tree. An example is that of grants that can cause more damage for every bullet and of one that provides extra shots without additional ammo cost.
Gearbox has confirmed that the Siren class will be making its return to Borderlands. The class may not be a phasewalker like last time. Lead writer Anthony Burch says that the gameplay will be “very, very different and very, very new.” Oooo… What does that mean? Will there be new skill trees included for the Siren class? What are the other possible new classes that could come? We sure would like to find out more about the classes being included in Borderlands 2.
