Borderlands 2: Emotional Trailer Gives Out September Release
The original Borderlands game turned quite a few heads since it aimed to blend elements of role-playing games with the standard first person shooter. Similar to the collission of peanut butter and chocolate which allowed fans of both ingredients to experience new taste bud sensations, the mix of RPG and FPS in the first Borderlands created anticipation for the upcoming installment Borderlands 2.
Will it be better than the first? Will it build on its strengths? Will it dial down the perceived weak spots of the original? These are just some of the questions probably running through the minds of gamers hooked by Borderlands. To help with their anticipation, there’s a new trailer for Borderlands 2 and, just like the premise of its genre-colliding subject matter, it manages to fuse two usually unrelated emotions – joy and pain.
This emotional mix is too potent and too deep for words, you just have to watch the trailer and come up with your own summation. Regardless, expressions such as “get ready to joy puke your face off” appear in the trailer which pretty much sums up the peculiar emotion you’ll feel wash over you. The trailer also mentions that the game will be released on September 18 in the US and September 21 internationally.
