Batman – Arkham City: A Teaser Trailer Released

Are you an avid fan of the Dark Knight? Well, the newly released teaser for the upcoming Batman game will surely whet your appetite more. The short trailer for the upcoming video game, Batman: Arkham City features the Dark Knight and a group of mercenaries called the Tyger.

Batman: Arkham City is the sequel to Arkham Asylum. It was developed by Rocksteady Studios and it will be distributed by Warner Bros. in the later part of 2011. It has been confirmed that the new game will include other Batman characters in speaking roles. The long list of speaking characters include Catwoman, The Joker, Talia al Ghul, Harley Quinn, Mr. Freeze, Hugom Strange, and Two-Face.

The video game trailer features the Tyger. It is a group of mercenaries assigned by Quincy Sharp to guard the perimeter of Arkham City. Arkham City was actually a city created in the slums of Gotham by Sharp, who became the mayor of Gotham after taking credit for stopping Joker.

If you have a seen the newly released Batman: Arkham City trailer, you will agree that it succeeds in teasing the audience with its dramatic lighting, neat choreography, and quick editing. Games Radar even stated that this video reminds them of Christopher Nolan’s Batman Begins, where the Dark Knight was introduced. Although the video is very short, it achieves its purpose of whetting the gamers’ appetite.
