Assassin’s Creed – Revelations: Go Behind The Scenes At Ubisoft
Assassin’s Creed – Revelations has a new developer trailer out and this time around our attention is focused on the multiplayer elements of this upcoming historical assassination and action game. This time around, the focus for the multiplayer mode of the game is all about customization. This has been a big trend in RPG games and it is making its presence and impact felt in Assassin’s Creed – Revelations as well.
It makes a lot of sense since multiplayer is where players can interact with other Assassin’s Creed fans from all over the world. In this situation, you want to give your character as much of your personal touch as possible. That is what Ubisoft is shooting for – giving players as much power in customizing their characters from appearance (introduced in Assassin’s Creed – Brotherhood).
What makes Revelations’ customizations worth writing home about is that it allows you to select your weapons and this impacts gameplay – it changes animations when you do a kill. Another key element in customization is the “struggle credits’you get. You can use these to upgrade your weapons. A new feature for the multiplayer mode is the friends hub – a friend stats function that allows you to see how friends’ are doing, stats wise. It also allows you to see their abilities so you can formulate a strategy before you get into the game. Overall, Assassin’s Creed – Revelations’s multiplayer mode packs enough changes and enhancements to make multiplayer campaigns quite interesting.
