Uncharted – Golden Abyss: TV Ad Gives a Peek at the Vita Game
The PlayStation Vita is about to launch here in the West and gamers are getting really excited. Finally, the handheld gaming device will be coming to store shelves, ready for us to play some great games included in the launch line-up. Sony is making sure that everyone is aware that its latest platform is coming out in the market and has evidently spent quite a bit of money on ads. Remember the compelling trailer where ordinary people experience extraordinary adventures?
Anyway, there is a new Vita ad released for television. This one focuses on one of the more popular Vita game line-ups, Uncharted – Golden Abyss. The game is scheduled to come out in the UK in a few weeks’ time. Golden Abyss promises much of the franchise’s sense of adventure although Naughty Dog did not develop this particular production; SCE Bend did, although it was under the original developer’s supervision. In Golden Abyss, we will see Nate and Sully go on a Central American adventure. In the given region, the two will be looking for a lost city that legend has been referring to. They will also try to find out more about how a Spanish expedition was massacred all of 400 years ago. The mystery adventure provides you with an original story in this first ever portable entry of the series.
The new TV ad promoting Golden Abyss does not really focus much on the game. In fact, the ad is more like a Vita promotion, which in a way the very game is. The game looks so good that some gamers may just be enticed to buy the Vita because of it.
In the ad, we see a teenage boy running scared. He also looks as if he is looking for something. Then, he takes out his Vita and he becomes immersed in the Golden Abyss. Camera focuses on the game. So, are you ready to be immersed?
