Portal 2: Associated Press Named Puzzle Game As Game Of The Year
The Associated Press has awarded some of the best games its year. It just revealed its list of the top ten games of 2011. What can I say? I mostly agree with the ones that made it into the list. You will find some well-deserved recognition in titles such as Bastion and Rayman Origins. Of course, the AP has decided to crown Valve’s Portal 2 as the best game of the year.
There are different award-giving bodies that are rewarding video games with their much-deserved recognition. While others may have their own bets, such as The Elder Scrolls 5 – Skyrim, which also makes it to the AP’s top ten, the Associated Press has favored none other than Portal 2. Other games that have made it into the AP list are Deus Ex- Human Revolution and Batman – Arkham City. These are mostly game that have been talked about so much but are still doing well even when the gamers have started playing with them. They have proven themselves to be worth all the hype.
So what do you we think of the Associated Press’s roundup of this year’s best video games? Well, most of the titles rightfully belong in their positions. Some award-giving bodies and organizations may actually shuffle the titles around as I probably would. However, at this point, I have not yet even come up with my own top ten list.

So, I think that the AP has done so well to pick only ten of the best video games in 2011. The year certainly is ripe with great ones.
