Total War Shogun 2: New Gameplay trailer released
A new gameplay trailer for the much anticipated newest installment of the Total War series, Shogun 2, has been released. All we can say is that its publisher SEGA has really outdone itself this time. Shogun 2 features a new game engine and pushes the limit in terms of video display. See for yourself what kind of cinematic and visual treats await you with this release. Creative Assembly, the developer of the Total War series really pulled out all the stops.
The gameplay video starts off with a sampling of battle sequences, invading armies, and map layouts. The video even tied in animated segments of previous Total War releases like Rome, Medieval II, Empire, and Napoleon. This intro quickly shows the improvements in battle scene graphics among the differing installments. Shogun 2 features improved water battle scenes, mapping capabilities, and smoother/more fluid action. There are some animated segments that look like full on live action footage. Even tactics are situational as inspired by Sun Tzu’s Art of War. Shogun 2 looks well put together and worth the wait.
Just make sure your PC meets the system requirements for this game because it looks like one heck of a beast in terms of graphics processing requirements.
