StarCraft 2 – Heart of the Swarm: Model Battlecruiser Is Very Impressive
Time lapse videos can make difficult things look a lot easier. This is because they significantly cut down the time. What you probably have done in hours could look as if they have been done in mere minutes. This is what it is like for the building of the Mega Blocks StarCraft Battlecruiser.
At the Blizzon 2011, a StarCraft 2 Battlecruiser was built using Mega Blocks. The whole thing took a good six and a half hours. It is easy to see why the building of the battle cruiser took long. Just taking a look at the almost identical, tiny pieces and I go dizzy. Now, I have to put all those together? Maybe if it were my turn, I will take more than six and a half hours. I would be happier with a team effort, of course. Thanks to a time lapse video, however, the whole thing looks super easy. The movements become frenzied and automatic, as if the hands knew where to go and what to pick to build the battle cruiser. In just one minute and forty seconds, the whole thing is over. Wow.
Now some people are complaining. Some gamers who have seen the video are actually asking for Lego blocks. Others, however, find Lego blocks to be easier alternatives. They think that Lego is no longer what it used to before – building blocks. Now, the blocks are bigger and much easier to assemble together to create specific objects. The Mega Blocks used in the building of the StarCraft 2 Battlecruiser are tiny. They look like they are made for expert builders.
