StarCraft 2 – Heart of the Swarm: Heart Pumping Preview-Trailer Shown at BlizzCon 2011
Fresh from BlizzCon, our eyes happily feasted on a number of previews. The annual convention has just closed its 2011 meet-up leaving fans mulling over revelations from Blizzard. The developers, for example, featured more stuff from Starcraft 2’s upcoming expansion, Heart of the Swarm. There were also previews on new multiplayer units, as well as a preview of the Blizzard DOTA, Diablo 3 and World of WarCraft – Mists of Pandaria. Chris Sigaty, Starcraft 2’s production designer, was ready enough to share a few more info about the sequel of the famous RTS-Game.
Heart of the Swarm, which is Starcraft 2’s next installment should go through beta testing within the following months. Fans should already expect several new multiplayer units. Blizzard also revealed a few more info, such as how the single player campaign of Heart of the Swarm will go and then how Zerg units will go through their evolution. While this info may help you get more of a feel of what to expect from Starcraft 2 – Heart of the Swarm, it would have been best if you had actually been part of BlizzCon. There, we got to actually try out the Heart of the Swarm expansion. After playing, we left feedback for Blizzard. We believe that it is great to actually contribute ideas and point out areas for improvement. It was a lot of fun but I know that Heart of Swarm will become even more awesome.
