Once you start an Instant Action campaign, you will be immediately teleported to join your group to Stillmoor or Shimmers. There, the fighting will begin. Trion has been planning to add this feature for a long time now but they want to make sure that enough time has passed since the huge 1.6 update launch that added the Ember Isle zone. The developers are still planning to throw out some great updates and continuous improvements regularly and consistently. Well, you could guess why Rift is one of the very few MMOs that are still charging its subscribers a monthly fee. Other developers could look for pointers from Rift’s developers.
