PC: MolyJam Begins Today!

The exciting non-news of the day is that the game jam, inspired by the spoof tribute to the legendary british game designer of a similar name, Peter Molydeux, kicks off today in all its glory. Peter Molydeux (based on the man, the myth, the legend Peter Molyneux, former head of Lionhead Studios) has entertained thousands with his wacky ideas, gently teasing the often maverick suggestions of Molyneux himself.

Not only have fans enjoyed Molyneux’s evil doppelgänger, it seems that the big guy himself appreciate’s the joke. Never one to take himself too seriously, Molyneux often speaks before he thinks which left the Microsoft publicity team frantically trying to back track. Molyneux has not only given his blessing to the Molyjam, which will aim to allow designers the chance to try and implement some of Molydeux’s crazy ideas, he will actually make an appearance at the London event over the weekend. The event is being held simultaneously in 26 locations across several countries. I won’t write them all here but you can check them out on the official website.
