Minecraft: Mineception Proves Game’s Versatility
As we have mentioned here at Gamebandits several times before, the only limit to the fun you can have with the mining and world building game Minecraft is your imagination. If you feel your imagination is quite conventional and you have a tough time thinking out of the box, no worries-Minecraft has a huge international installed base of highly imaginative and creative players willing to mod the game where it has never been to before. Case in point: Mineception.
This game recreates Minecraft within Minecraft. That’s right, you can play a game within a game. You get a “screen” that portrays your in-game session of Minecraft. The in-game game lets you play Minecraft with water that behaves like it does in Minecraft, gravity, and six blocks you can place. The in-game game has a huge computer interface that looks like something out the Matrix. Of course, we at Gamebandits, are not surprised at this level of versatility. We have reported before on the mind-blowing huge array of creative directions Minecraft fans have taken the game to.
How can you be surprised when you’ve seen players make an in-game version of Duckhunt? As we’ve mentioned before, Minecraft’s appeal is not just the seemingly infinite world it offers but its malleability to meet one’s imagination. The only limit is our imagination.
