Mass Effect 3: Now With Confirmed Multiplayer Mode
Aussie magazine PC PowerPlay has just confirmed that there will be a multiplayer mode for Mass Effect 3. This is a new feature coming from the BioWare series. PowerPlay has gotten excited over it that its website even includes a photo of the issue that deals with the details. The mag’s website announces “That’s right – Mass Effect 3 is getting multiplayer”.

It seems that everything has been confirmed through a trip to BioWare’s Edmonton office. The representatives of PowerPlay get to try the series’ new mode, which enables it to be played online against other players. They also get to chat with Casey Hudson, who is the Mass Effect Overall Series Producer and Mass Effect 3 Project Director. He mainly talks about the decision to go multiplayer. Mass Effect 3 by the way is an epic game. How else can you describe a game where the galaxy is at stake? It is probably just fitting that the Worldwide Web gets involved in this game. The web itself is continuously expanding itself as if stretching out like a galaxy. So, yeah great move BioWare fellas. We can now see why any magazine for that matter will be all too eager to make the new mode announcement.
**UPDATE***
Since writing the above article, Bioware have confirmed that Mass Effect 3 will have a Multiplayer mode and another mode too. BioWare published this statement on their Facebook group “We can officially confirm that there will be a multiplayer feature in Mass Effect 3. However, please reserve your appraisal until we are able to give more information. Our Executive Producer Casey Hudson says it best: “Yes, co-op MP missions for ME3: they’re real, and they’re spectacular. Rest assured it’s nothing of what you’ve feared. More soon…” Stay tuned for more details as they emerge.
