Kingdoms of Amalur: Legend of Dead Kel DLC to Debut in March

Developed by 38 Studios, Kingdoms of Amalur – Reckoning has been compared, rightly or wrongly, to The Elder Scrolls 5 – Skyrim. While significant differences exist between the two titles, the mere fact that Amalur is even compared should count as a massive victory for 38 Studios or the game’s fans.

If you’ve fallen under the charm of this up and coming RPG franchise, you’d probably be delighted to hear that the game has an upcoming DLC. Entitled “Legend of Dead Kel,” the DLC will be expanding the game by 15%. This means more side quests, more dungeons, new interesting characters to add more spice to your adventures, more types of enemies, and, of course, more enemies. The game will have a new type of dungeon called the Dverga. Moreover, a “massive estate” called Gravehall Keep will be introduced by the DLC. This location will have its own side quests and its very own back story. The DLC will be available for download at Steam, Origin, PSN, and XBL. As of this writing, the price for the DLC has not been released yet. If you are interested in Kingdoms of Amalur, here is some more background information on this fast rising RPG title. The game is, like The Elder Scrolls series, a single player RPG that runs on PCs and consoles. It offers four differing playable races, 3 classes, and 22 abilities per class tree.

Players can choose between a city-dweller human race, nomadic humans, dark elves, and light elves. The three classes fall roughly within the mage, rogue, and fighter classifications although the classes are labeled Sorcery, Finnesse, and Might in the game.
