Ghost Recon – Future Soldier: Arctic Soldier DLC Set to Drop in July
Are you ready? Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon – Future Soldier’s launch is getting closer by the day. If you aren’t already excited about the tactical possibilities this upcoming game has to offer, its publisher/developer Ubisoft is sweetening the pot by dropping some tasty nuggets regarding the first DLC Future Soldier players can look forward to.
Titled “Arctic Strike,” the downloadable content package packs some new maps which, just going by the title of the DLC, has a snow setting. Ubisoft did not disclose how many maps we can look forward to, though. We’re sure that detail will be released as the DLC’s release date draws closer. The new maps take players through Moscow streets and the wild reaches of the Arctic Circle. Don’t mistake this DLC for the run of the mill flimsy publisher attempt to milk a few more dollars from a game’s fan base. Ubisoft really does players justice with this content pack since it also includes a new multiplayer mode. What’s more, you also get a new co-op map for “Guerilla Mode.” Players also get to beef up their arsenals with the pack’s six new weapon choices.
The game’s multiplayer modes pack a lot of action balanced with tactics. This is not a gun and run title. Thankfully. The multiplayer modes look awesome but Ubisoft’s been a bit mum on each mode’s details. No worries-as Ghost Recon – Future Soldier gets closer to its launch date, expect Ubisoft to release more details and probably a trailer or two.
