Alan Wake: Game Finally Arrives on PC
Remedy Entertainment has finally released the PC version of the psychological thriller Alan wake. The game’s PC version trailer could remind old fans about what the game is all about and could entice new ones to take a chance on Alan Wake. The cinematic trailer really does act like the introduction for a theatrical film. There is the drama, suspense and the unknown. In the short trailer, we get the general story.
The story may be typical in the beginning, with Alan Wake suffering from writer’s block and heading to a secluded place for a vacation. Isn’t that how those things go with writers caught in a horror film? This isn’t a film, however, and it isn’t really typical. Alan Wake does not go to Bright Falls alone. He goes with his wife and has no plans to write there. His wife sets up a typewriter but that makes him mad. In the end though, he has to save his wife from mysterious entities that kidnap her. So, the story does not really remain in the realm of the expected. It is a psychological thriller and succeeds by being mind-bogglingly mysterious. If you are coming back to the story, the game may not have a lot of surprises in store for you. However, if you are buying the PC version just to get a feel for the game when played on the PC, you might have the right idea. Of course, you are luckier if you never played the game before. It is time to experience the game as a fresh one. That is the same feeling you get when you have finished watching a whole TV series and a friend is just about to start watching the first episode. You can get super envious of that friend who will experience the series afresh.
Anyway, the Alan Wake PC version is now out. Buy one if you want to, whether you are an old fan or a new recruit.
