Mortal Kombat 9: Freddy Krueger DLC and others available on PSN

The highly anticipated debut of the long steel-clawed, scar-faced slasher Freddy Krueger in Mortal Kombat has come to pass. His DLC is now available via PSN. Now you can play this villain who previously existed only as a parasite of people’s worst nightmares.

I know you’re asking “How did FreddyKrueger end up in Mortal Kombat 9?” Here’s the quick back story: Mortal Kombat’s favorite villain Shao Kahn started to steal Earthrealm’s souls. Freddy fought with the emperor in the Dream Realm. In a bid to put an end to Freddy, Shao Kahn yanked Freddy into our world, the real world, and defeated him here. Freddy was badly injured but his drive for vengeance and Shao Kahn’s death pushed him to fit both of his hands with demonically enhanced gloves. These gloves sported surgically sharp razor blades. He has come to the world of Mortal Kombat 9 to unleash his fury at Shao Kahn. His plan is to kill Shao Kahn and return to the Dream Realm so he can go back to what he normally does – tormenting Earthrealm’s souls forever.
