Minecraft: Minecon Trailer Gets Us Hot Under The Collar
Have you been playing the smash indie hit game, Minecraft, for quite awhile now? Well, are you at least aware that the game is still a beta and incomplete version? You most likely are and are now eagerly waiting for the full version of the video game – finally – from its makers, Mojang. Minecraft, despite being still in beta version, has already enjoyed more than four million copies sold. Next week, its creator Markus “Notch” Persson will be officially launching the full version of the masterpiece in blocks in Las Vegas. Have you bought tickets yet? If not sorry, the tickets are already sold out. It seems that many fans, critics and other people involved in the video game industry wouldn’t want to miss the event.
The event is so important that HAT Films has even released a trailer to honor it. It shows ‘Steve’ AKA Mr. Minecraft coming to the launch. The entire video entirely happened within the world of Minecraft. What better way to show just how the blocky world of Minecraft can be transformed into just about anything?
If you will not be able to make it to the event, you can always enjoy the streaming video from the event and top that experience off by buying some Minecraft merchandise from J!NX web store. You can even find an official Minecraft poster from the online store. As per usual with Notch, he hints at some more developments through Twitter. He tweeted a mysterious photograph this time. It looks like the official Creeper plushie Notch was promising for more than a year now. He refers to it as a J!nx swag.
