Max Payne 3: New Cinematic Trailer Highlights Story

The upcoming action-adventure game Max Payne 3 from Rockstar games has a new trailer out and it shows more of the popular Rockstar game characters Max Payne down on his luck in a sleazy part of the Brazilian hotspot Sao Paolo. If you have enjoyed Max Payne before, this game is definitely for you. If you are a newbie to the series, it looks like that this game has enough new game enhancements that it would be a great introduction to the series for you.

This cinematic trailer has already been released before but what makes this new is that it has pop-ups. When you play the trailer, there are notations that you can click so you can see a little bit more background regarding what the narrator has been talking about. For example, the broken down apartment scene where you see Max Payne drinking himself to a stupor and is talking about being in a private security contractor in Sao Paolo, we see the words Sao Paolo underlined. If you click that it takes you to Wikipedia.

What makes this trailer great is that it not only steps you through the thematic elements of the story and gives you more details about the storyline that’s animating Max Payne 3, it also gives you background information on the places and other elements that Max will be interacting with.

Great video, I wish more video game trailers would be like this because it’s great to be excited about the game but it’s also important to get more background information without taking away the overall impact of the video. So, the video becomes very, very informative.  Hopefully, we get more pop-up videos for Max Payne 3 because this has been quite entertaining and informative.
