Mass Effect 3: Commander Shepard More Developed
Word has it that Mass Effect 3 will be more varied in terms of movement across the battlefield. Players will even be prompted to make use of this greater variation. So have you seen the latest BioWare Pulse episode? If you have then you have seen Commander Shepard taking advantage of the greater variation. You have seen him rolling out of and even between cover with ease while following cover lines through 90 degree turns.
BioWare is not content with just making Shepard move easily from one cover to the other. It is also ensuring that Shepard can also provide the player with some subtle cues. Through Shepard’s stance, whether he is leaning towards a certain spot or is ducking, the player will know where it is best to move to or when it is time to stay in cover and not to run. With the proposed changes to Mass Effect 3, the player will be better able to control Shepard towards a safer and more successful run. What do you think of these changes? Does it make the game less challenging or easier? On the other hand, do you appreciate just how good the artificial intelligence has become? BioWare seems to be bent on improving the character’s movements.
Know more about how the game’s animations are created through looking at the new episode of BioWare Pulse I was talking to you about. Mass Effect 3 will be launched on PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on March 2012. I am sure you can’t wait to see how Shepard moves through the game that time.
