Guild Wars 2: First beta test period announced

Are you a hardcore MMORPG fan? Are you a big fantasy game fan? Do you have some time on the weekend of April 27 to 29? If you answered yes to at least two of the items above, then you need to pencil in some Guild Wars 2 beta action next weekend. Awww yeah!

That’s right, the highly anticipated fantasy MMORPG Guild Wars series is ready to roll out Guild Wars 2 and needs committed RPG fans to help polish the game so it can be ready for prime time. The storied and much respected MMORPG series’ latest update will premier its beta weekend for the first time next week. Don’t miss out on all the armor clashing, monster slaying, spell casting, and crafting action by pre-purchasing the game. The beta is not free. You have to have pre-purchased the title before you can participate. The game comes in three flavors: Standard, Digital Deluxe and the Collector’s Edition. The standard edition will set you back 60 bucks, the Digital Deluxe version packs 80 dollars worth of damage, and the Collector’s Edition demands an investment of $150. In addition to beta benefits, pre-purchasers also get the game earlier than the official launch-3 days earlier.
