Grand Theft Auto 5: Gameplay Demo Could Be Coming to E3
Right salt cellers out because it’s time for another rumor fest. This time another friend of a disgraced Rockstar employee (how many are there, seriously?) has claimed that it has always been Rockstar’s intention to bring with them a playable Grand Theft Auto 5 demo to E3 in June this year.
The other wild claim of this good Samaritan is that he has it on good authority that the game will be released to the general public in May 2013. This is is conflict of course with last weeks rumor spouted by an anonymous friend of yet another disenfranchised employee that we could be looking at an October release. The one thing the May rumour does have going for it however is the mysterious “2405″ marking on the pavement as seen in the Grand Theft Auto 5 reveal trailer. At the time of the trailer’s release it was hinted that maybe we would hear more about the game this coming May, but there is absolutely no reason why May 2013 couldn’t have been implicated.
Of course this is just unfounded speculation. I long for the day when I can bring you guys something solid. It would be really great if there is some truth in the rumor that Rockstar are going to bring a Grand Theft Auto 5 demo to E3 this yeah. I have thought for a long time that Rockstar were holding back Grand Theft Auto 5 information until after the release of Max Payne 3 (which looks awesome by the way). I can see this from Rockstar’s perspective. With two such great titles the danger is not that everyone would flock from Max Payne 3 to the GTA 5 ship but that the hype for both would somehow become diluted, as fans and the media become to stretched.

Until I have something more solid to go on though I will keep bringing you more rumors. Then at least we can laugh at the ridiculous ones and then have to benefit of saying “I told you so” later on should any of them turn out to be true. That is, after all, the beauty of gossip. Isn’t it?
