Final Fantasy 13-2: Square Enix Releases New Screens from DLC
Square Enix has just revealed several new Final Fantasy 13-2 DLC screens. In these gorgeous shots, we get to see protagonists Serah and Noel wearing new costumes. You can see Serah in a girly bikini, this one in pink that just oozes cuteness. Noel looks a bit weird in my opinion in his knight armor. Well, other Final Fantasy fans may just love his new tough look but I kind of don’t buy it perhaps because Noel looks so young. His baby face somehow goes against the armor’s knight about to do battle look. Well, Noel can certainly fight. After all, he is one of the main protagonists. I would rather see him in something more suitable to his look.
Serah, on the other hand, is very cute in her pink bikini. My only complaint here probably is that the designers played up her cuteness too much. Call me a prude but I would rather see her covered up more like she is really ready to fight. Some of the female fighters’ costumes in the world of video games are just not so practical. A pink bikini is something I would rather see remaining in the Barbie realm. Don’t mind me. Sometimes, I am not just enthusiastic about costume DLCs. This additional content does provide variety and customization but I would also like to see more sensible designs that fit the situation the characters are in. As always, Final Fantasy is gorgeously rendered. The visuals are awesome. I love the details and the general look although I still found some stuff to gripe about.
How about you? You may have a completely different take about the costumes. You may even love them as they are. If that is the case then that is a good thing at least Square Enix is hitting it right with some of the players.
