Spider-Man – Edge of Time: Release date officially announced
It’s now official. Spider-Man – Edge of Time is slated for release on October 4 2011. The release date will be the same for all three major platforms – PS3, Xbox, and PC. Wii and DS will also get versions of this title. Spider-Man – Edge of Time is a follow up of Spider-man: Shattered Dimensions. This follow up title includes a whole new storyline, two differing Spider-man options (from different eras), and, of course, new villains to fight.

In Spider-Man – Edge of Time, you are trying to stop Alchemax researcher Walker Sloan from killing Peter Parker in a bid to stop Spider Man in the future. Walker plans to do this through time travel. He goes back into time and founds Alchemax. You play the future Spider-Man and you fight Walker Sloan to keep his plans from happening. Spider-Man – Edge of Time spots a lot of time traveling twists and is poised to deliver great fun. Some comic book favorites that will appear in Spider-Man – Edge of Time are the Black Cat and Mary Jane Watson. The Black Cat has a “future” look. The star villain for this installment is Anti-Venom.
