Pokémon Black and White 2: New Teaser Released

Nintendo confounded many Pokemon fans recently when they announced Pokemon Black & White 2. Why? Many fans were thinking that since Nintendo released Pokemon Black and White, they would naturally progress to Pokemon Gray. Wrong. Nintendo dashed fans Hegelian expectations of thesis crashing into anti-thesis to yield a new pocket monster game synthesis.

Before I get too caught up in philosophical dialectics references, it is fair to say that fans were surprised by this turn of events. What’s more the initial screens for the upcoming games don’t follow the previous installment. Also, the new installments won’t be for the 3DS but for the DS. Looks like Nintendo’s been throwing quite a few curve balls our way recently. Well, the DS support is okay if you consider that the 3DS is backwards compatible and the fact that there are millions of DS handhelds still out there. Still, a 3DS-specific release would have been nice. Anyway, the new Pokemon Black & White 2 teaser is out and it looks slick. Slightly mysterious since the art doesn’t seem fully filled out or defined. It’s more like a sketch. Still, it looks good and will definitely serve to whet fans’ appetite for more information on this upcoming title.
