Dark Souls: New Evidence of PC Version Surfaces

It looks like fans of the notoriously difficult RPG cult classic Dark Souls will now have to get used to dying on the PC. That’s right, fresh evidence of an impending PC port for the console RPG game has surfaced. According to Australian PC gaming magazine, PC Powerplay, there is a ‘Next Month’ section. Lo and behold, what do we find there? The familiar “You Died” message in a stark black background.

This reignites speculation that Dark Souls’ publisher Namco Bandai has pulled the trigger on a PC port for its cult RPG hit. Talk about a very vague reveal. Anyway, the “You Died” image has the link to a brand-new Facebook page for Dark Souls. The page promises big news once there are enough Facebook ‘likes’ on the page. If you are a fan of Dark Souls, this might be your opportunity to share the page on your Facebook wall and pester your friends to like the page. Also, it might be time to hit up fellow Dark Souls fans online in message forums and yahoogroups and rally the forces. While a PC port was not specifically mentioned in a vague reveal, it did appear in a PC gaming magazine. It’s not like Namco Bandai is unaware that PC fans are interested in a PC version of the game. Last January, there was a petition launched pushing for a PC port. Don’t you think its time to see the awesome and elegant graphics of Dark Souls on the PC?

This game is so hard! Maybe it will be easier on the PC?

I suspect what little secrets the game had left to discover will be gone in a few weeks of a PC port
