Dark Souls: DLC Available Now

It’s rock hard this game. This is a game for masochists, and I say that because you will die a lot. You will die over and over again, and rage quit, load it back up again and die some more. I’m not sure how many controllers have gone through TV screens as a result of this game, but I’d be prepared to bet real world money on at least some.

That hasn’t stop people flocking to it in their droves. These people have now been rewarded for their perseverance with even more shiny, scary content. Atorias of the Abyss, the newest DLC offering from Namco Bandai the game’s developers, will add new maps, boss characters and other cool items according to the official statement below:

“Dark Souls’ add-on, Artorias of the Abyss gives you access to new maps and environments, boss characters, enemies and non-playable characters, weapons and armour, an additional challenging content for stalwart heroes to face and an online match-making feature for co-op or player vs. player gameplay, allowing gamers to showcase their skills against other Dark Souls players around the world. ”

The content will cost 1200 MS Points (£10.28) on Xbox 360 and £9.99/€12.99 on PS3, it weighs in at 350.57 MB on Microsoft’s console and is available right now. So what are you waiting for?
