Crysis 3: Could this Game be Any More Stunning?

I think we can all agree that the footage that CryTek has released so far for Crysis 3 has shown a world that is jaw droppingly beautiful and that is not surprising when you take a look at the game’s concept art. When a developer has such an artistic starting point how could it possibly go wrong?

Add to that the awesome power of the CryEngine 3 and you’ve got yourself a winner. The Crysis 3 world is not only dystopian, it is beautiful is its desolation. Its characters occupying the green luscious spaces beneath the Liberty Dome. A jungle grows up to cover New York and it is difficult to tell where the swamp ends and the foliage begins to seep it’s way up the sky scrapers. The most interesting feature of the concept art is the use of light and dark. Through the gloom cuts these beautiful sun rays, like beams of pure hope.

One thing seems to be for certain, Crysis 3 will be darker and more brooding than either of the two previous Crysis games.
