Call of Duty – Modern Warfare 3: Cheaters who use Black Box Glitch will get the Boot
Be forewarned! Infinity Ward, the developer of Call of Duty – Modern Warfare 3 will not tolerate any player shenanigans using the new Black Box map’s glitch. What’s the penalty for exploiting the glitch? Players found cheating will get booted from the game. As in pack your bags for your free trip to Banistan.
We’re talking permanent ban here, folks, so tread lightly and stay away from the glitch. If you don’t already know, Activision can wield a mean and swift ban hammer. Not only is it quick, it is also crushing. No amount of whining or crying can reverse the effects of the ban hammer so don’t cheat. According to Infinity Ward’s Robert Bowling’s tweet on the matter, there is apparently a glitch in the Black Box map that allows players to get under the map. Thankfully, a fix is already being put together to handle this glitch which, I am sure, is causing many players on the receiving end of a nasty tactical surprise quite a bit of grief. The fix is supposed to drop come this weekend. Speaking of the weekend, as we reported earlier, if you’re playing the game via Xbox Live, there is a double XP weekend promo this weekend. Let’s hope the fix drops before the double XP marathon.
