Call of Duty – Modern Warfare 3: Bad For Marriages?
And now, for some fun and weird news. Maybe not so weird, but definitely a fun look at video gaming. A woman from Utah has become so exasperated by her husband’s video game addiction that she actually put him up for sale on Craigslist. We all know that Craigslist is a US site where all sorts of deals go down. 22 year-old Kyle Baddley apparently has been spending so much time on the newly released Call of Duty – Modern Warfare 3 that his 21 year old wife Alyse actually told her mother-in-law, “I’m going to sell your son on Craigslist.”
Now that sounds like a funny threat that won’t really come through but said wife actually posted a classified ad on her local version of Craigslist. The ad reads: “I am selling my 22 year old husband. He enjoys eating and playing video games all day. Easy to maintain, just feed and water every 3-5 hours.” It also specifies that the buyer “must have internet and space for gaming. If acceptable replacement is offered will trade.”

The ad seems to have been done in just but not everyone thinks so. A man actually offered himself to trade. He claimed that he likes books instead of video games. Some people had also expressed their concern about the young couple’s relationship. Alyse insisted that “the ad was all just a joke, and I love my husband and he loves me. I didn’t ever think anyone would reply to this, but it’s gotten so much attention, which is kind of cool.” Kyle’s father Scott said that his son actually cut down on Modern Warfare time and will be spending a Thanksgiving trip in Florida with Alyse.
