Call of Duty – Black Ops 2: Nintendo Ports Coming?
The British retailer Zavvi has made a rather curious listing on their website. Today, the company listed Call of Duty – Black Ops 2 versions for both the upcoming console the Wii U and for Nintendo’s long established handheld console the 3DS.
Both listings had a release date of Novemeber 13, with would be cutting an announcement fine since neither platform has been officially confirmed by Activision, the game’s publishers. An official announcement from Activision has stated that November 13th will see the release of Call of Duty – Black Ops 2 for Xbox 360, PS3, and for PC. Activision also confirmed that at a later stage, the Wii U would be seeing a version of the game, however a launch date was not given.

There is still no news as to whether or not a version of the game will appear for the 3DS. It would be strange to see the full FPS on the handheld, considering the lack of processing power the console has. I predict that we will see a version of Black Ops for the 3DS at some stage, but it won’t be the full Black Ops 2, that is unless Activision have awarded Sony all handheld rights alongside the release of Call of Duty – Reclassified which launches on November 13 for SOny’s handheld console the PS Vita.
