Bully 2: Rockstar Hint At A Sequel
I am sucker for games that have a unique premise. So, I love what Rockstar Games did with Bully. In television and films, the high school life is getting to be an old theme. In the world of video games, however, it still is quite the surprise. You may even say that Bully is the best game coming from Rockstar Games given the fact that it is surprisingly unique and yet effective. Something good like this should have a sequel.
I am waiting for Bully 2 for quite some time. I wonder if Bully will next be looking at college life. There were rumors of a sequel coming up but so far we do not have real evidence of it ever pushing through. After all, the original was released way back in 2006.

There may still be hope, though. Rockstar VP Dan Houser has been talking about the decision making process, covering sequels. Houser even mentions Bully in his discussion of sequels. This may be a sign. This is what Houser had to say: “We knew that we didn’t want to start doing the Bully sequel instantly at that second with those guys–even though it is a property that, like Max, we adore and might come back to in the future. There was just no impetus to do that then. So we said, ‘You can do Max, and then we will see what we can do with Bully.’ So it was really waiting for the slot to open up and the group to open up to at least start work on it.”
I don’t know quite how to interpret this but I will wait for Bully 2 even if it takes years.
