Borderlands 2: New Release To Be Very Different
Gearbox is making sure that the core mechanics of Borderlands will allow it to progress towards a sequel, which should be in a bigger and improved form. According to concept designer Scott Kester, “What we’re trying to do in this game … Borderlands is really about the loot, about the mechanic of levelling up and getting new gear.”
Borderlands’ focuses on the actual gun content creation. Also, there is a new loot or item in every corner to keep the player interested. The development team is focusing on what the core is for the game. The members are designing the best characters, guns and environments while also ensuring that all the loot are as interesting as players would want them to be. The guns do not just look better but they are better in many other ways. They are also able to do a lot of other things. There is also a lot of new gear that is included in the game.
Kester observes that the loot from the first game have little distinguishing features that can set each apart from the rest. So, his team is focusing on variety as a means to address criticisms that cite the repetitiveness of the first game.
Hopefully, the team will be able to come up with a game that is unique and varied. Borderlands 2 will be supposedly out in the third quarter of 2012 for all major platforms. The team had been pretty careful with trying to answer the questions and request of players. Hopefully, it will succeed with Borderlines 2.
