Assassin’s Creed – Revelations: Achievement Leak Hints at Single-Player DLC
When it comes to video game marketing, oftentimes things aren’t what they seem to appear. Supposed leaks may often turn out to be part of coordinated publicity campaigns. Even job placements or posted resumes may hint at big game developments afoot. That’s why it doesn’t surprise us that the recent leak of a set of Assassin’s Creed – Revelations achievements may hint at an upcoming single-player DLC.
Posted by Xbox360Achievements, the achievements list suggest that there may be new content coming soon for players of highly popular assassin action adventure title Assassin’s Creed – Revelations. How come? One of the achievements dubbed “Save Yourself” mentions the player landing on a block. This indicates that a possible DLC might follow Desmond and the block-based features of the single-player game. Also, the South Africa-based gaming store AWX listed a new version Assassin’s Creed – Revelations dubbed the “Ottoman Edition.” Based on the box art for this edition, it comes with free downloadable content.
Does this refer to the unmentioned upcoming single player DLC mentioned above or does it refer to two previously released DLC packs. AWX has the Ottoman Edition slated for release on March 16. So far, Ubisoft has been mum about any official acknowledgement regarding either the single player DLC or the Ottoman Edition.
