Assassin’s Creed: Gamer Builds Own Game-Inspired Arm-Blade
Some video game fans can be really creative. This should not be that surprising considering the fact that when you play a game, your imagination works double time as it keeps up with all the twists and turns of the game. Becoming your character from the inside can actually help you get motivated when trying to win a campaign.
Some fans just have more active imaginations. Take for example, one Assassin’s Creed fan. He must have really immersed himself into the game or he is just the kind of guy who likes to tinker with things. Anyway, this guy whom we can refer to as YouTube user Angelegend has created his own dangerous weapon. This weapon is placed around his arms. And why not? This weapon is an arm blade, which looks very much like the ones you’ve seen in Assassin’s Creed. So now, we have a Youtube user slash assassin slash gamer. But you have to hand it the guy. He is pretty creative and resourceful. The arm blade was made from materials such as a door hinge. It is certainly mind-boggling, experimental and admirable of him to go recycling stuff to create completely different stuff.
This is what he had to say about his DIY project, “It’s a bit complex, but if you’re not afraid to get messy and make some mistakes then check the link…for detailed build instructions. Be safe and have fun.” So, he is not even selfish about how he made the arm blades. What a cool guy! However, I am not that sure I would want to start fiddling with blades and any other sharp object. I can handle wasting some pretty good door hinge but other than that, I will just sit on the bench for this one. But I sure hope Angelegend will build more video games-inspired weapons.
