Angry Birds – Space – Ice Bird Debuts
Come March 22, Rovio Mobile has a brand-spanking new version of its highly popular Angry Birds tactical puzzle game. Dubbed Angry Birds Space, the latest iteration of the Angry Birds game takes the pig-hating feathered anger-management candidates to a new frontier-space. Indeed, for this title, they will boldly go where no feathered pig toppler has gone before.
The game packs new graphics and a collection of new birds you can fling. As with previous Angry Birds titles, each bird has its own capabilities and players can take tactical advantage of this. The latest new bird type is Ice Bird. According to its reveal video, this bird is a bird from outer space who has the ability to freeze solid enemies unlucky enough to cross paths with it. Angry Birds Space launches on the Galaxy Note by Samsung. The game is being marketed with NASA. You can tell NASA’s fingerprints in the marketing campaign since the campaign has already yielded one memorable ad when astronauts on one of the Apollo missions were shown around a giant slingshot on the moon. Talk about “out of this world marketing.” Hopefully, we’ll get the full roster of the new birds/projectiles soon so Angry Birds fans can see what kind of tactical goodies these birds bring to the table.
