Resident Evil – Operation Raccoon City: Finding the Black Key Cards
So that you don’t have to scramble around fighting enemies and avoiding firetraps and trip wires while trying to escape from the monsters, Capcom have built in the opportunity make a hasty exit by dropping Black Key Cards around the place. We have assembled together a convenient list of all the Black Key Card locations in Resident Evil – Operation Raccoon City and the best ways to go about retrieving them. Aren’t we nice? In all seriousness though, you will find the list below. Happy hunting.
The City Hall Black Key Card
From the door where the wolfpack enter walk straight ahead and on to the little platform. From there you can bunny hop down and the black key card is lying on the ground at your feet. Awfully clumsy of someone to leave that lying around don’t you think? Anyway, from here you can make a direct dash for the door, leaving the monsters to eat your dust.
The Hospital Black Key Card
The best way to find this Black Key Card is to first find the locked door. From this point it is much easier to trace your steps. Once you have located the door, turn on your heels and walk ahead of you until you spot a small room on the left hand side. The squad leader will identify the body of a woman lying on the ground in the small room. The Black Key Card is lying in her in-tray, above the toxic waste cans.
The Tyrant Room Black Key Cards
In this area you have your work cut out for you a bit as you will have to locate three different keys. This is the area that it is probably the most prudent to know the locations of the black key cards as you will have to make a hasty escape from the Tyrant hi,self (well you and your team can have a go at defeating it too if you like, but the Tyrant is not alone. He brings a whole bunch of friends to the party.) Any way, from the where the Tyrant is lying, with your back to him, head up the stairs and you will see the three locked doors. Using your map to help you locate the first two cards (there’s no point describing where they are, it is easier for you to just follow your map here because you will be met by all sorts of creeps on your way). Once you have located the first two black key cards, either by obliterating the enemy or by stealth you need to head to the control chamber. That is the location of the final Black Key Card. Once you have all three, you are ready to tackle removing the parasite from the Tyrant. The, when he kicks off, you can make your getaway.
