The Elder Scrolls 5 – Skyrim: How To Cure Vampirism

So, you get to experience what it is like to be a vampire. You adore the power but hate being shunned and hunted by people. As you grow stronger as a vampire, the more you become abhorred. Remember my friend that in the world of Skyrim, vampirism is still considered a disease. This disease will turn you into an even worse monster if you cannot get your blood supply. So, how do you cure yourself of the disease?

Here are some steps:

• If you have contracted the disease not so long ago, within three days, then you can just use a common disease-curing potion and you are back to normal/
• Activate the Shrine to Talos, which is outside Whiterun Dragonsreach and it will cure you of any disease.
• Make sure you are not a Stage 4 vampire before talking to anyone. If you are one then you will be attacked on sight. You have to wait for night to fall so that you can drink blood off a sleeping NPC.

Interact with the sleeping NPC to drink its blood.

• Make use of Stage 4 abilities, such as Embrace of Shadows and Vampire Seduction. The first one makes you invisible while the second one helps you calm NPCs so that they won’t attack you.
• Even if you only reach the first stage of becoming a vampire, normal cures will no longer work on you.
• You begin your quest by speaking with any Bartender or Inn Keeper. Listen up for rumors. They will tell you that Falion in Morthal is studying vampires.
• Find Falion by first fnding Morthal, which is east of Fort Snowhawk. Falion will talk about the cure.
• Falion will tell you to get a Black Soul Gem. He can sell you one. You need to fill it out before being cured.
• How do you fill the Black Soul Gem? Well, you need to kill a human by first casting a Soul Trap spell on him or her.  You can use any human to fill out the gem.
• However, you need to obtain a Soul Trap spell first. This spell is sold by any magic vendor. You can go to the College of Winterhold or Whiterun to look for a shop. Choose a Soul Trap scroll if your magic skills are low. The Jarl’s Court Mage should own a Soul Trap spell.
• Cast the spell and fill the gem and then go back to Falion for the final stages of  the ritual.

Then, you are cured of vampirism at last.
