Minecraft: Infinite water supply
Use this nifty tip and never worry about water again
Players need water in Minecraft. From building, setting up a moat, or to farming, there are many situations where you’ll have to use water. Since it’s a hassle running to the ocean to grab a bucketload, here is an easy tutorial on how to get an infinite source of water ready for your use whenever you need it.

You just need to dig at your floor and an Iron Bucket
Step 1: Dig a 2 x 2 hole. Make sure it is 1 square deep.
Step 2: Fill your bucket with water you got from a lake or a sea. Bring 2 buckets and fill both up. This trick needs 2 deposits of water.
Step 3: Go back to you hole you dug and pour each bucket into separate corners of the square.
If you did this correctly, you will have a 2 x 2 pool of still water. Every time you draw water from the square, it will refill.
Alternative cheat:
Get 2 water buckets. Dig a straight line that has 3 holes. Put 1 water bucket on each end. The water will flow to the middle. The flow will be infinite.
