Madden NFL 12: Other special teams concerns

Plays involving fake field goals and fake punts are seldom used in the real world NFL. They are also quite hard to execute in Madden. So unless you feel like experimenting or you’re just playing a friendly match with a buddy, avoid the ever tempting fake field goal or fake punt plays. You are almost certain to fail and open yourself up to letting your opponent get excellent field position. When returning punts and field goes, have the same mentality you would have in a running game. Use all the tactics and abilities you have in an offensive running game. Gain as much yardage as possible with one reception.  Don’t neglect to use these unique special teams to create opportunities for great offensive plays.
