Madden NFL 12: Get first overall pick of the draft

After you start your franchise, set the trade deadline to off. Once you finish the regular season, regardless of whether you made it to the playoffs or not, during the wild card round of the playoffs, trade off your first round pick, your third round pick, and your sixth round pick to the team that got the worst record. This team gets the #1 overall pick. In return, get their first round pick, second round pick, and third round pick. The game’s computer accepts this trade.

Does anybody know an easy way to get multiple first round draft picks without trading high value players?

if you have the 32nd pick trade it for a 1st rounder the following year to a team you think wont do that well ive had the 1,2,4,10,19 pick in one draft. its kinda luck. you can also trade older players with declining ratings for 1,2,3 round picks before the draft for the next year. the cpu gives away the next years for almost nothing

follow this step and u can just trade ur 1st round to the worst team in the league for their 1st 2nd and 3rd round and they accept it.

If you check different teams, some will trade your first round for their first and second, and sometimes even third.  I usually do that until I have the max number of draft picks, then I pretty much give away my higher round picks and trade down my current picks once I see who has early spots in the draft.  Sometimes you may only end up with 3, 4, or 5 draft picks.  But if you got 2 first round and 2 second round picks, you should be able to get that player you’ve got your eye on.
