Angry Birds – Space: Locating the Five Golden Eggs
Angry Birds – Space follows the same pattern as previous iterations in that players are given the opportunity to collect the special Golden Eggs that are hidden in special nests, and are often difficult to reach. The difference in Angry Birds – Space is that finding the Golden Eggs unlocks various bonus level, that have been inspired by classic games. There aren’t many to collect – just five in a full 60 levels, so you would have to keep yours seriously peeled if you wanted to spot them on your own. Luckily we have assembled a handy guide below.
World 1, level 9. Here you will find your first golden egg, like jack when he reaches the giants castle at the top of the beanstalk. To see the egg you will need to zoom the picture right out. It is covered in shrubbery, and nestling just behind two piggies. We got this egg by splitting the blue bird into three, but any combination is eventually possible if you are skilled enough.
World 1, level 20. This one is a bit easy. You probably don’t need a guide to tell you how to get this one. It is lying in some bushes on top of the planet in the centre of the screen. Using the new purple bird – tap the egg once the bird is in flight to activate is lazer guiding system and bam. That egg is scrambled.
World 2, level 13. It is a very long gap between this golden egg and the last one. You would be forgiven for thinking that you had missed it. But don’t worry, Rovio have made up for it by making it quite easy to nab. Just zoom out the screen and you will see it perched precariously on the edge of a planet just beneath where the main level takes place. Fire a purple bird backwards and use his lazer to take him directly to the egg.
World 2, Level 25. Really, you will start to begin thinking that this new lazer bird should be renamed the “lazy” bird, as it’s addition makes grabbing those golden eggs ridiculously simple. The fourth egg is located in the southern hemisphere of the planet where your sling shot is, zooming out will allow you to see it clearly. Just launch off your purple bird and tap the egg to watch him make light work of grabbing you the prize.
World 2, Level 28. This is the final egg that you have to collect. This egg is almost impossible to see as it is entirely covered in snow. On the very left of the ice planet though there is a patch of that hangs down asymmetrically. Pelt that spot with birds and you will find the egg.
